A storefront rebuilt for the phones people actually use

A specialist retailer was losing mobile trade on an ageing shop. The brief was conversion, not a redesign for its own sake.

The problem
The catalogue, stock, and checkout had accreted over years. Pages were slow on a phone, the editorial team could not change a campaign without an engineer, and peak traffic made the till feel like a risk.
What we did
We replatformed the storefront and checkout, kept the merchandising model the commercial team already understood, and designed the mobile path first. Inventory and order events stayed in sync with the warehouse they already ran.
What changed
Pages that load on a train. Campaigns the team can ship themselves. A shop that holds up when demand spikes, instead of hoping it will.
